Indian weddings atGrand Palladium Punta Cana
Bávaro, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
One of four Palladium hotels sharing a single complex on Bávaro beach, with an Indian restaurant in the complex and South Asian wedding specialists who design the events rather than selling a fixed package. It suits a multi-day wedding where different events want different settings.
Why Couples Choose It
What this resort actually commits to
An Indian restaurant in the complex
Bhogali, Palladium’s Indian restaurant, serves paneer, rogan josh, biryani and kofta. Your guests eat familiar food on the nights between the events, and the kitchen knows the cuisine before the wedding arrives.
South Asian specialists design the events
Palladium’s South Asian Wedding Services for the Punta Cana complex are custom-designed, including the baraat arrival. You are not fitting four events into a package written for one.
A tasting built for South Asian menus
Palladium publishes a South Asian food-tasting guide, with dishes from chefs who specialise in the cuisine, so the menu is settled on flavour rather than on a description.
Know This Before You Fall In Love
The published limits
Every venue has them. Most planners let you discover them at contract. We would rather you weighed them now, while changing your mind is free.
- All food and drink on the property must come from the hotel, so an outside caterer is not an option.
- Outside vendors pay a fee per service. It is waived for a photographer, videographer or hair and makeup artist who stays in your room block for the minimum stay.
- Outdoor sound is capped and beach events have limited hours, shorter in turtle-nesting season. The actual end time is not published.
- Open flame is not addressed in anything Palladium publishes, despite a detailed wedding FAQ.
- The complex includes an adults-only hotel, so check which hotel each part of your group is booked into.
One thing in its favour that is easy to miss: this resort takes all ages. Several highly rated properties in the same bracket are adults-only, which quietly rules them out for a wedding that travels with grandparents and small children in the same room block.
Before You Commit
What we get in writing for you
These are the questions that decide whether a wedding works at a property, and the answers change by resort and sometimes by venue within one resort. We put them to the wedding office and get them confirmed before you sign anything.
- Open flame for the havan, in writing.
- The end time for music at each venue.
- Whether the Bhogali kitchen can cater a full banquet, and whether Jain, halal or no-onion-no-garlic menus can be certified.
- Whether events can be spread across the complex’s hotels under one contract.
- Your room block terms, which are negotiated and not published.
Planning is free, and it stays free. We are paid by the resort on your guests' room block, which is why we can afford to tell you when a venue is wrong for you.
