Indian weddings atGrand Palladium Costa Mujeres

Costa Mujeres, Mexico

A family all-inclusive on the quieter coast north of Cancún, renamed Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres in 2025. It has an Indian restaurant on site, a convention centre that can take every event indoors, and Palladium’s Vivah South Asian packages, which the brand sells only here and at its Riviera Maya complex.

Why Couples Choose It

What this resort actually commits to

Vivah, written for South Asian weddings

Weddings by Palladium sells South Asian weddings built around a mehndi party, a sangeet, the ceremony (Hindu, Punjabi, Gujarati, Sikh and others) and a private reception, with a dedicated wedding specialist. Its Vivah packages are offered in Mexico only, at this resort and the Riviera Maya complex.

An Indian restaurant on the property

Bhogali, Palladium’s Indian restaurant, is part of this resort’s dining. Your guests eat familiar food between the events, and Palladium publishes a South Asian tasting from chefs who specialise in the cuisine.

The baraat is on the menu

Palladium’s South Asian Wedding Services for the Costa Mujeres complex include baraat arrivals, and dhol baraats have been held here, one arriving by boat at the dock.

A late room for the reception

The Poseidon terrace and glass room take a private reception from 7pm until midnight, so the night does not have to end when the outdoor music does.

Know This Before You Fall In Love

The published limits

Every venue has them. Most planners let you discover them at contract. We would rather you weighed them now, while changing your mind is free.

  • All food and drink on the property must be supplied and prepared by the hotel, so an outside Indian caterer is not an option.
  • Outside vendors pay a fee per service. It is waived for a photographer, videographer or hair and makeup artist who stays in your room block for at least three nights.
  • Outdoor sound is capped at 70 decibels and beach events have limited hours, shorter in turtle-nesting season. The outdoor end time itself is not published.
  • Open flame is not covered by anything Palladium publishes for this resort, and its terms say fire effects are restricted at some hotels. For a havan: not published, get it in writing.
  • At least 80% of your guests must stay at the resort; the rest need an event pass. Every private function also requires an open bar for its full length.

One thing in its favour that is easy to miss: this resort takes all ages. Several highly rated properties in the same bracket are adults-only, which quietly rules them out for a wedding that travels with grandparents and small children in the same room block.

Before You Commit

What we get in writing for you

These are the questions that decide whether a wedding works at a property, and the answers change by resort and sometimes by venue within one resort. We put them to the wedding office and get them confirmed before you sign anything.

  • The havan, in writing: which venue, and whether a kund and ghee are allowed.
  • The baraat: route, timing, and whether a horse is possible, since only dhol and boat arrivals are documented.
  • Whether the kitchen can cater full banquets to an Indian menu, and whether Jain, halal or no-onion-no-garlic menus can be certified.
  • The music end time for each outdoor venue.
  • Your room block terms, which are negotiated and not published.

Planning is free, and it stays free. We are paid by the resort on your guests' room block, which is why we can afford to tell you when a venue is wrong for you.
